Finally an update! Well this is to keep everyone busy XD Anyway, I've chosen Gerrit Rietveld as my preferred designer because his works are meaningful, yet simple. His works are mostly simple and uses primary colours and that was what inspired me to choose him. Gerrit's works are also influenced by the De Stijl Movement, which explains why they consists of simple lines and shapes. Here are some of his works:

Now, why did I choose Gerrit Rietveld? First of all, it is because personally I think that his works are simple, yet meaningful. His works are heavily influenced by the De Stijl Movement artist, Piet Mondrian, and the usage of lines and shapes to create a story or some sort is what inspired me to choose him. Although I'm only inspired by his design style and not his design philosophy and sorts, I still believe that I can design something that can produce the similar results, if not better.
