My blog layout is complete! =D I have also added banners to make each entry more recognizable.
Anyway here's my rationale for doing this:
- Japanese Manga style is the style I love to do. It shows my passion and interest in my works.
- Gerrit Rietveld's De-Stijl-influenced artworks are simple yet meaningful.
- The colour blue represents the sky, which signifies limitless possibilites and abilities.
- The music is added into the blog because personally I think it suits the theme of this blog well.

I did it! I have managed to create a fusion! It's not that great though:

After the consulation with Shirlyn, I decided to refine my drawings and came up with this:

Of course, this is not pretty much confirmed yet, so please wait for updates on my final result.
Here's my style! My style is mainly Japanese Manga style with my own personal touch (what I would like to call Masaki style). The lines are refined and smooth and I usually use blue because it represents the sky, which signifies limitless possibilities and abilities. Here are some of my works:
This is a drawing of my 3 main characters. They are: (clockwise) Masaki Ryodo from Ano Hi no Taiyou, Ryodo from Cybernet Data, and Rockman Delta from Rockman Delta. Ano Hi no Taiyou is a romance comedy project, Cybernet Data is an action project, and Rockman Delta is a fan game project.

This is Hanada Aiko from Ano Hi no Taiyou. She's the cheerful heroine with a bubbly personality, but it was actually a facade to make her forget her dark past. If you wanna know more about her you can find out in http://flaming-albatross.deviantart.com/.

As mentioned above, this is Rockman Delta. He's the counterpart of Rockman X. Like X, he has a strong sense of justice.

This is Alpha, the gunslinger and Axl's counterpart.

And lastly...Zeta, the melee-specialist and Zero's counterpart.
I intend to fuse my style and Gerrit's style together to form an image that uses simple lines and colours to form my artworks.
Finally an update! Well this is to keep everyone busy XD Anyway, I've chosen Gerrit Rietveld as my preferred designer because his works are meaningful, yet simple. His works are mostly simple and uses primary colours and that was what inspired me to choose him. Gerrit's works are also influenced by the De Stijl Movement, which explains why they consists of simple lines and shapes. Here are some of his works:

Here's the website I get most of the information from:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerrit_rietveld Now, why did I choose Gerrit Rietveld? First of all, it is because personally I think that his works are simple, yet meaningful. His works are heavily influenced by the De Stijl Movement artist, Piet Mondrian, and the usage of lines and shapes to create a story or some sort is what inspired me to choose him. Although I'm only inspired by his design style and not his design philosophy and sorts, I still believe that I can design something that can produce the similar results, if not better.
